Dear Love, I hope this greets you well
There are many things I wish to say,
But I fear some might not be heard,
And others are best left unsaid.
It's easy to apologize,
But harder to repair a broken spirit.
I don't expect to fix what's broken,
But I hope my remorse is received.
There are some things that are difficult for me,
like expressing myself when it matters most.
But there are things I can admit,
like that, I have been an asshole,
And for that, I am sorry.
Let's not let this fester.
I want to be better for you,
And for us.
