I love Creep fest, now I want to go watch some horror movies. Yes, I keep people up at night but I have needs damnit. I thought the picture worked so I am glad you did to; that thing sits in my mind like a pet - I think it's cute though. Anti-Khrist, absolutely.  Superstar - let's not get to ... well I can't say crazy because that ships sailed. 👹💀🐙☠️

Brava Kristina❣❣ I read this as the digestion process of resentment. Tne poison ingested via a supposed denegration, arrogant scowl, or sideway's glance. Once swallowed takes residence in our gut there to fester until finally expelled in vitriolic vomet. As illustrated by these astute passages, "Storing the sediment in the soul

This has been witnessed with such acuteness in our current political environment.
The cure is love, a willingness to discuss calmly often misconstrued feelings and actions. I've had unexploded bombs in my head for years only to find that my narrative of a given conflict was erroneous and that what I interpreted as a dis a denegration was actually my supposed malefactor silently crying out in pain.
Oh boy do yoy make me think my friend. That to me is essence of poetry...the stimulation of thought.

'Digestion process of resentment' I might steal that as title for another one. That's great... And now you are writing lines for it too. :p Absolutely, it festers and grows; it is so easy to judge, get mad, resent, be jealous, and all the other myriad of negative emotions; spreading hate... Politics * cough * no comment. That's definitely a good way to sour moods fast. That next part is absolutely perfect and very much on point. It is so easy to judge or misconstrue feelings and actions without ever understanding what really happened, sometimes nothing, or even consider someone else's suffering and pain. (I wrote something on that too I almost posted instead of this one). These days  it seems like tempers can really run short and understanding can be even less. So often with no attempt at discussion when things can be resolved without allowing them fester and spread. There are no winners when feelings like that are involved. I love that I keep you thinking. I agree with that on poetry. Your whole comment was perfectly insightful. :) 👹💀🐙☠️

That's so true. A truly vicious animal that kills its own in new and incredibly destructive ways. And tortures individually too. Definitely a horror story. It saddens me that people can be so cruel and bask in their darkness.  
 Your weighty write is written brilliantly describing the genesis of the sad truths  
 of the poisons corrupting the hearts & souls of sad individuals. ( jealously, anger, sadness, suspicion, hatred, deception, etc)  
Unfortunately you are spot on with the reference to mutations of the heart and soul.

Although it's definitely a darker write I am happy you found it compelling and extraordinary (okay, that one surprised me but I love it). It is sad, sometimes we can help pull them out of the darkness but more often they pull us into it. And it can be truly horrifying what someone can do to another person. Definitely one of my favorite lines also. I was trying to capture how these feelings and actions truly have a lasting or permanent affect that builds and corrupts. In my writing, I play as I see and feel it. Life begins in the dark of the womb, but so many fear it. I love to write dark because dark takes no prisoners.

The dark is my fondue. It's so creamy with embryos...dripping.

"Life begins in the dark of the womb" so true. Everything started in darkness including the universe. Without it there can be no light. And I love fondue... and the dark. The light hurts my eyes and burns my skin. :p

“ In the basements of gloomy foul language,” first, I love that line. It just so happens I’m a champion cusser, so that image appeals greatly.
Second, as I read and reread I kept thinking how much the heart muscle stores in hurts and sadnesses and misunderstandings all in a bizarre attempt at self preservation from the next sea creature who wants to gobble us up and spit out the indigestible parts.
I think the dark side has its purpose in saving us at times but what’s more disturbing to me just at present is how similar the picture you chose to accompany this write reminds me of a guy I dated in college! It’s uncanny.

This picture totally matches the piece, it reminds us of a bottom feeder, haha emotional scavengers. There is a debate of sort as to if absolute darkness exist, we tend to agree that in this universe there is no such thing. There seems to be just enough light emitted, protons moving to allow the pain and everything that it drags in. Totally tight freaking piece Lady

I thought the picture was perfect too, indeed emotional scavengers feeding off anything good in anyone they can find. Trying to take everything good making more of themselves. Absolute darkness possibly no longer exists but maybe it did at some point or maybe in a black hole. Still moving to allow the pain and everything that it drags in makes sense to me. I liked this dark and intense write, also because I think you incorporated a pic of Cthulhu which hints at the mythos of this dark realm.
