Searching for eternity (6)

Searching for eternity (6)

She had a free run of the castle, but she couldn't wait for late at night, she knew he would visit, to check she was alright

He would watch her eat, he told her how he lost his son and wife, how the plague took them, then how his life was turned to strife

How he was later turned, and how a he is now the Vampire King, she taught him how to dance, he just loved to hear her sing

She began to miss him, when she was alone each and every day, she knew she was falling in love with him, but she didn't want to say

And whilst laying in his coffin, she was always playing on his mind, he was captivated by her beauty, she was so very kind

Many years passed on by, her hair was growing long and grey, thoughts of her own mortality, slowly came into play

She told him of her fears, of how one day they'll have to part, he knew he'd be alone again, with his cold and empty heart

He left before the breaking of the dawn, with her words running, running through his mind, he didn't want her to leave him, a solution he must find
