sacred vows
in the indigo silence, I scream
to find no one was listening
my understanding tripped out and blaring
but no one heard
in the infinite truth
so many lies and secrets
bend the faith
she will forget in time
lady justice isn't blind
she just pretends to be
inside the sacred vows
I feel a hollowness
will the covenant be kept?
I walk trepidatiously
fearing none
fearing all
I have just one chance
I will make it count

Secrets and lies are like a dormant cancer that can and will kill a relationship. This metaphoric self reflecting write showcases inner turmoil of secrets toll on the soul brilliantly. You are truly a poetess with boundless talent......Amazing!
