Who's the ''you''  in there?

most of my poems use the "she" to represent myself and "you" to represent the people in my life/ society in a sense. in this poem i'm talking about releasing myself and the "you" is myself and my family. hope this helps :)

So: you are asking why the ''you'' (they, the family?) can't release you, can't let you go...........? What is their problem?

its me (or she) saying, "why cant u realize im wearing a fake mask", "why cant you help me?" and also saying to myself "why can't you ask for help" "why can't you fix yourself". the line is meant to demonstrate the pleading and desperate feeling one may feel when not being their true self. hope this makes sense

I read this and wanted to leave a comment.  As I was leaving my comment it turned into an alliteration, I can't remember it was a 5 to 6 word clever of a comment.... Haha I want to say.  Then I stopped and felt like I could write a Haiku off of it.  THAT I DID... at abut 6am or so, it is now 1pm.  I accidentally closed a window on my browser and realized it was this poem with my comment.

Though what I wrote probably has no real tie to what you wrote, which by the way is nicely written, you did inspire something in me to write what I wrote and I wanted to let you know.
