Bones

Maybe Iím supposed to be alone
All in all
I did everything I could.
I sacrificed myself to bring you new life
I tarnished my image to bring in the light
No more dark skies, at least on your end right?
I must say, they are beautiful.
Iíd do anything to keep the tree of life growing, glowing.
But in times like this I hear the toll bells gonging, longing for my peace
Thereís not much left for nymphs like me
At least thatís what Iím reading.
I guess I donít know how to please a manís soul,
Lest it be snatched and added to my sack
Of decaying bones
Iím alone.
How long before
I get sucked into the land of whores
Maybe Iíve been here, and Iím accepting my destiny
Iím ready, if youíre ready to sip on my tree
Iím ready to succumb to your lustful thinking
