“its” needs an apostrophe in the title because it’s being used as an abbreviation of “it is” (I think). The poem is more a plain statement of a common idea than a work of art, but you bring to it a certain craftsmanship. You have an instinct for when to break the line, separate a line into its own verse for emphasis (as you do at the end), and add a rhyme to make the poem memorable.

Yes, such truth! When people have to put on a front or behave a certain way, they make it difficult to love who they really are. This also applies when people are extremely fake with appearances. Maybe a first date should take place at a swimming pool or similar, so they can see each other's actual face, eyebrows, eyelashes and whatever else. Easy for me to say though, because I've never bothered with any of that!
