Sadly, some people will go to extreme lengths to obtain validation from others as they’re desperate and ruthless, without a thought for anyone else but themselves. Insecure and selfish twats !

It is a plague. A famous one is-was Karl-Theodor Guttenberg, former (disgraced) Germany's defence minister: supposedly earned the title of Doctor but it was found that his thesis was filled with unquoted material...plagiarised stuff. In a manner I was sad about this because he was a rather young man and on the rise in Merkel's circle. The sky was the limit for him. Until he was denounced as a cheat.
