Pandemonium

We're going through different phases;
You can see it in our faces.
Each and every day this,
Pandemic probes the population.

This isn't a vacationó
Or a simple walk in the park;
More like being stalked after dark,
In a sketchy alleyway.

Seeó

A virus knows no discrimination,
No ethnicities or races;
Injecting its genetic code,
In many different places.

Let's face itó

We can't just pray it away;
But I have faith, someday,
That science will save the day,
And keep the viruses at bay.

As it travels around the globe,
Impacting every nation;
There's a little glimmer of hope,
If we get the vaccination.

Author's Note
Someone gave me a vague prompt, "faces, phases", so I came up with this in about 5 minutes. Still having writer's block, so it was nice to write, even something small.
