The Queen and i

~The Immortal Speaks~

stir the pain and make it talk
guilty pleasures rise from deep inside
we really aren't so different you and I
the moon speaks of a divine love
ridicule the pinnacle of doubt within yourself
I want to know you truly

you hide inside your sacredness...an innocent girl
then come forth wielding a blade...a full-grown Queen
my love reconcile your differences and come to me

 ~ the mortal me speaks~

it hurts to be this bare
naked of soul so transparent
inside me, I tremble from your nearness

you reach into to touch me
I transform into that which isn't lovely
it is a gift and curse
a power I have no control of
if I'm feeling ill at ease it happens naturally

shapeshifting in the ether
I'm so very shy at the heart of me
if you desire the Queen
I give fair warning she comes without a heart darling
