Perfection?

Darling, it’s all about perception...

You believe what you want

Doesn’t matter who writes it or in what font

No one forces you to believe

You’re all free to take your leave

You stay, that’s your choice

Its up to you wether or not you listen to my words or to my voice

I view so many different posts

Some are beautiful, others sad, while everyone else just boasts

I offer to the ones who are struggling, my hand

While I ignore the ones who just want to rant

The ones who say they’re dying and sad

You say you can’t save yourselves when you can

This is a kind community, it’s not hard to find friends

Ones who will stay up with you at night to make sure your life does not end

I understand being depressed, hurt, and used

But don’t shut off saying this is the end when you’re just confused

There are so many other things you can do

There are clubs, polls, and friendly chatrooms

But to the ones who are actually struggling, I’m sorry...

I know sleepless nights give you anxiety and cause you to worry

But go to your friends and if there are none then come to me, reach out

I’ll stay up and listen to you tell me your pain and doubts

Don’t be afraid of judgement or me thinking of you bad

Hearing you vent makes me happier, I'm glad

You’re safe and loved

Surrounded by those willing to love

People who have traveled through ruins

They can help you heal

Understand what you feel

You don’t have to listen to this

But no matter who you are or what you’ve done, if you disappear...you’ll be missed.
