Lost Boy

Lost boy, tell me...
Did you really believe...?
Or did you just dream...?
Continuing to see things as they seem.
Oh, Lost boy, I laugh at you
How could such things ever be true?
This world is filled with liars and cheats
And when pain comes, we all retreat.
Go ahead and accuse me, I donít care
I know of your lies, Iíve been aware
Itís my skill, my own personal art
To see through others then rip them apart
You saw my halo and came to me as your savior.
Baby, those were horns, Iím a manipulator
Donít for a second think Iíd save you lost boy
You were nothing more than a mere toy
Congrats, you failed my test
You proved youíre no different from the rest
Itís alright though, Iím sure you tried your best
But fortunately I could see through your BS
I care for two beautiful people only
They dragged me out of darkness when I was lonely
Theyíre the reason I exist
Without them Iíd still be on deaths list
Lost boy you thought youíd win me over then do me dirty
But in the end your just another lost boy, you werenít worthy
You called me love, with the occasional sir
But ďmy loverĒ was not a title youíd ever deserve
Now run along lost boy to Neverland
I hope you take sometime to think as your feet hit the sand
Have fun with your lovers, go play pretend
But I hope one day they too see through you and understand
That you arenít someone with whom they should want to hold hands.
