after a few hours spent in the office
of Donald Trump's legal defence team  
as the 2021 Impeachment trial progresses  
  
He enthusiastically slaps a few dollar bills  
onto the counter  
   
Watcha got there in the briefcase, Buddy?  
bartender asks while pouring a drink  
   
Devil says,  
The souls of three Republican Senators:  
Ted Cruz of Texas, Mike Lee of Utah  
and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina  
   
Laughing, the bartender replies,  
I think I've heard this one before!  
   
The Devil slugs down his drink  
If only I was joking  
and adds on his way out,  
Busy afternoon ahead  
---gotta get back to work!
