Image for the poem Baptism of Flesh

Baptism of Flesh

Tenderness becomes unbridled passion
Her modesty spreads to receive
I hold the tip of an angel’s wing
In the touch of her human hand

Our flesh pressed in wanton lust
Seismic fluids begin to flow
We share in lifelong held desires
Baptized now in aqueous celebration
