You haven't fully seen
the fear
have you
you only watch it
from the corner of your eye
that blurry bit
that flickers sometimes
and you fucking twitch
like a child
that fears the dark
the monsters are coming
and you
Psychologically cringe
becoming scared
of your own shadow
that you watch
in fear
like the slow ripples
on the river
that you have to cross
on a cold misty morning
watching
those slow ripples
that might have teeth
where most of you
who were standing
at the river
go back up
 the trees
in fear
while watching their shadows
from the corner
of their eyes
fearing that their shadows
will become
slow ripples
on the river
that you have to cross
to be stripped clean
from your fear
of your shadows
that you see
from the corner
of your eyes
