Unity in Life

There is a unity in life
If you will but look and see,
All humans are your brothers and sisters
No matter where they be.

Ninety nine per-cent of all human genes
Show we are one and the same,
Proved by science in the genome project -
No matter the name or the fame.

We should greet each stranger we meet
With love - as if one of our own,
For God resides in the heart of all
The body temple that's His home.

If everyone bought this concept
What a different world this would be,
Each person loving each other
In friendship, in bliss, and in glee.

Wars would end as we see each person
Mirrored as our very own self,
And we help poor nations to prosper -
Grow in mutual love and wealth.

Then the Golden Age will descend upon us
As predicted in books of yore -
Love and peace shall rule the world -
Strife and war would be no more.
