Pudding or Spoon

Love is the truth.
If the symbols letters LOVE
Did not exist -
And your ears never heard
The name of love spoken
Love would still exist.

There is nowhere
In the Friends creation
That love does not exist.
Love is the creation
And the creation is love.

Love is like
A kettle full of pudding
With a spoon for stirring.

Dearest Wayfarer,

What would you rather be
The pudding or the spoon?

The spoon though covered
With pudding
Can never know the taste
Or the sweetness of the pudding.

All of God's creatures
Are surrounded in love
And have their being
In love.

If you are aware of this
Then perhaps
You are on your way
To enlightenment -

Otherwise -

You are the spoon.
