Sunsets

As sure as the Sun rises it'll eventually set
Life's full of adventures we'll never forget
Clock starts to tick as we leave the womb
Continuing to do so 'til we reach our tomb

Doom and gloom are parts of our journey
Just pray your days aren't filled with many
Free from any would be nice but that ain't life
Trials and tribulations are inevitable strife

Strifeless without stress is just Fantasy Island
A Skipper's S.O.S. with conflict on the horizon
Quicksand is being disguised before our eyes
Many are sinking but are posting visual lies

Realize that en route to Heaven we'll go through Hell
Living happily ever after is only in fairytales
Retail won't fulfill our yearnings for happiness
I know of this firsthand and this I must confess

Before our Sun sets we must invest in assets
I'm not talking about golden treasure chests
The best assets are ones that will crossover
So love each other like sisters and brothers
