Seeking Answers

an early walk one evening
under very dark turning clouds  
soft warm rain descended upon my lips  
 
sweet touch of Angel’s kisses  
brought soothing comfort to me  
as I kept walking to no where  
 
lightning lighted my dark path  
thunder sounded God’s firm voice  
chastising me for doubting  
 
walked for awhile in total silence  
then a Lady appeared before me  
motioned me to follow her  
 
walking peacefully content  
then she stopped and turned to me  
pointing to another path  
 
she smiled and said “believe in Him”  
“keep faith in who you are”  
I looked back at her and she was gone  
 
walked for what seemed a few miles  
warm sunlight hugged my soul  
all was quiet and still  
 
there stood a friend  I never said sorry to  
now was a chance making it right  
calmness caressed my heart  
 
past luver who left without a word  
he kissed my lips so softly and smiled whispering  
“you’re a special Lady”  
 
my biggest blessing was hearing you say  
“hello my purple rose, I’ve not forgotten you”  
confirming your spirit was alive within me  
 
sighing I opened my eyes to thank God  
for answering these prayers  
then suddenly they were all gone  
 
not knowing how I was back home  
under sunshine and blue sky  
confused yet blessed wondering......  
 
Was this a dream or a revelation?
