Master and Vase (with Reading)

Once, shining with a gloss on the table,
There was a vase in its grace,
And it shone with its facets in the sun,
Full of beautiful wildflowers

Often succumbing to charm,
They approached and touched it slightly,
And for a long time they were so touched by beauty,
Looking slowly along the edges with a glance

But somehow Once, by an accidental movement,
That vase was dropped from the table ...
It fell, flashing only for a moment,
In the fragments of the wretched, losing itself

And like tears water in a transparent puddle
Mingled with small pieces of crystal,
And like thin lace patterns
On those fragments for the first time, a shadow fell

Flowers crumpled and thrown into the trash,
And the fate of the vase was a foregone conclusion -
Glass collected in a small pile,
Sending them after, pitying them slightly

But, however, they wanted to glue them with something,
They even tried, in an attempt to return
Grace and that former charm,
Wishing to revive the form again

And for a long time those fragments were lying around
In the pantry or something, in darkness and dust,
But then a Master came to those people,
He was a creator, a connoisseur of beauty

Having learned about the vase,
he took the remains to himself
And for a long time contemplated the
wretched appearance,
And in the evening he took
these pieces for melting down in his own oven

And the glass spread like a living liquid,
And the Master knew a lot about this,
and again he filled with life
Wounded broken glass

He patiently and tenderly embodied love
and soul, heart, feelings, thoughts
In a different form, in a different beautiful sense,
Giving another life to that vase

And again the vase shone with light,
Absorbing all the subtlety of craftsmanship,
And again there were flowers again,
Keeping the freshness in it much longer

The Master loved so much,
And he did not want to part with it at all,
And the vase came to life and in gratitude
Gave the light, keeping it's love

That's so easy by choice, not by accident
We can break and destroy someone,
And so easily, almost in one touch,
We can revive someone to life

Author's Note
The reading is pretty long. This one was inspired by some things and someone. I really debated posting it or not, I may not leave it up. I would be interested in anyone's thoughts on whether the music adds to it or should be removed and just leave the light rain sound. (or remove that also). Still new to this and not sure how the volume is for other people and if that sort of thing just distracts.

The video is not a perfect fit but it was the best copyright free one I could find with limited time.
