Just a little faith

I recieved a messge from a stranger out of the blue.
It was about turning to god and jesus christ for answers that I wish I knew.

I too was a stranger to the man behind the screen,
but for some reason with him I felt content and able to come clean.

Bowing my head and praying aloud helped me realize,
that if life is a game and heaven is the prize;
When you confess your sorrow, despairs and your sins,
 with just a little faith in the end everybody wins.

Although I'll admit that I had started to doubt,
wrongly assuming that I dug a hole to deep and had no way out.

I know now that I have spent so much time expecting to be judged,
and all it took was kind words from a stranger and my fear started to budge.

When you're weighed down by doubts and fear,
just remember that there is a reason that we all are here.

I understand that it's hard to believe because you've prayed so much and have gotten no reply,
but what if the answer can't be seen, heard or spoken;
but only felt in your heart on the inside.
