That is why climate change is such an important issue, Jackie. Those who deny it for profit are focused on, well, profit. This will leave our grandchildren in a world they may not be readily able to breathe in.

I feel this write completely, Jackie.  So many issues are being politicized and used to launch careers, but not much action happening.  I join those who hope for a future where we understand our impact on the world around us and where we come back to a place of honoring the space that allows us to exist at all.  Beautifully written and thought-provoking work 💜

The tragedy is that it is in our hands to turn this catastrophe around. But denial has ruled the powers that be. But a new generation is coming and they will have say. Your poem and the accompanying music set the atmosphere for a poem of a planet on the brink of despair but not irreversible.

Perfect title for this, my darlin sister... you touch my heartstrings with the pic alone, and did wonderful with bringing this important topic to us with ur usual POW of honesty to back it up. Mother Earth sure be cleanin house these days, in an effort to heal some, least I'm trying to keep faith in that.. but as you say. we all need to do our part.

Hello beautiful woman , I am an emotional being I seem to be and feel connected to everything earthen  
I feel pain when tress get destroyed when our animals are killed for sport, or a bug who happens to land in the wrong spot gets killed, with the exceptions of mosquitoes fleas ticks and flies I set all other bugs free 😂 even nasty little armored stinkbugs hee hee ! I just open the window and flick them outside ya’know,

I just can’t kill something just cause I can 🤷🏻‍♀️
