Image for the poem Many Moons

Many Moons

How many moons have passed
Since I’ve known your beauty?

So many stars have gone by
Losing their luster

Magnified by the clear
Lack of opposition
You stand on the pillars
Of forgotten ships
Shipwrecked in the wake

Downtrodden I was
Before you freed me from my slumber

Awaiting an awakening
I did not know I needed!

Mind and body’s cosmic connection
Has never garnered this link In me

In you

In Us

Not simply Love
But in an illustrative
Illustrious Lust!

And Trust

A Bond
I never knew was possible

Yet I find myself
Yourself
Ourselves

Embedded in each other’s

Destiny

When we were only supposed to be...

Two ships
Passing by at Night
