Laziness
From sky, to hillside, to lowland rivers- water moves lazily.
The path of least resistance by which electricity travels.
Even in life itself, the most adept use the least effort
based on a superior, and therefore easier, ability to survive.
Laziness. Humans roaming in tribes had more leisure time
than us right now.
Self-sufficiency is no longer taught nor commonly possible.
We require these systems which take advantage of us to survive
because we have no choice.
Collectively we could make it easier on ourselves.
Sadly some cling to old ways and forms of self-aggrandizement.
"My hard work is the work of gods."
Others who trample past the rest understand how they got there
and fear losing what they've gained.
The perception of laziness being immoral and corrupt-
not just "unwilling to work"
but a deep-seated hatred of leisure itself. In ourselves the worker.
The dogma of a dog's god, loyal to a fault, docile, submissive-
a slave but happy to be there.
