Image for the poem Obedient

Obedient

She drowned herself in a split bath,
Opening her veins with her own screams
She could not endure the blind desire of
Hours spent with someone impersonal

She was a drunken pliable wax
And only barely audible whispering:
Well enough ...
But the skin of her back turned into stripes
To tie her body to the bed

The needles that had absorbed the
fire of the fireplace,
Lightning from the sky stuck under the nails
And someone's saliva burned her back
And the black claws tore her chest

Eyes, mad with wild rhinestone
Saw the dance of ugly shadows
The big bed seemed to her a block
And it was so embarrassing to kneel

Cruel the torture lasted for centuries
And the pain was wearing out the tired body
Someone thrust into her in jerks
She was dying - and still wanted

Steel bracelets were breaking her wrists
But all of her was again filled with desire
And, having tasted plenty of sensuality
and torment,
In the morning she lost consciousness ...

Bloody stains of night debauchery
Mad orgy squeezed out strength
She was torn, broken, crumpled
But virginity, no matter how funny,

Preserved ...
