Just because...

Just because I don't show it
That don't mean that I don't cry
It's because I do not show it
That makes you question why?
Just because I don't say it
That don't mean that its not true
It's because I don't say the things I feel
That helps me protect you..

I could tell you things you want to hear
But what would that achieve?
Perhaps you wouldn't believe it?
It may sound like make believe...
Just because you don't believe it
That don't make me untrusting
I always try to tell the truth
Cos the opposite I find disgusting...

So if you want me to lie to you,
Cos your afraid of hearing the truth
Then prepare yourself cos I won't lie
Been like that since in my youth...
Don't ask a question if you fear the answer
Thats not my style, so soz...
I'm not gonna sugar coat the truth for you
And I'm telling you this because!

Life is fastly slowing down
And I no longer wish to be alone
I experienced many women in my life
None of which are saved on my phone...
I know what I want, I know what I need
It's been under my nose all these years
Its YOU I always needed in my life
But I was blinded by unjust tears...

Shedding tears for the wrong woman
Simply because I didnt want to be on my own
But it's being alone that made me realise
I'd been looking in the completely wrong zone
All I had to do was notice you
