Hateful Acts

Anywhere that our hue is in plain view
They'll be many who will hate our crew
What's one to do when hate is worldwide?
No matter the avenue in which you reside

When tired of being viewed as public enemy
From spewing the truth about his hypocrisy
Will there ever be a safe place to call home?
Seems that we must carry ammo & chrome

Our genome inherits pain via epigenesis
Things have been this way since Genesis
Should we resist temps of becoming radical?
Even though we won't receive sabbaticals

We've met with the Oracle; seeking answers
She didn't know what to do about this cancer
So who do we run to outside of GOD?
He already has a clue that it's been hard

Our psyches are as scarred as Kunta's back
Or Toby to you, lacking knowledge of blacks
Don't you see the stats about disparities?
Open your eyes wide for acuity & clarity

Some will see differently no matter the facts
Viewing our history as theatrical acts
Do they think it's an act cause of the videos?
On body & dash cams like pornographic hoes

If it were a show, we'd have been yelled CUT!!
Instead of being treated like disorderly bucks
What the fuck's it going take for our lives to really matter?
It's more than a slogan or P.C. banter
