We had a romance
We had lust
We might have had love
Back then there was a lot of in between
It didn't get talked about
It just was
Until one day it wasn't

Ironically she didn't break my heart
Think there wasn't much left to break
We parted
Never saw each other again
Until we had lunch after many years apart
A flame lit, a rush of feeling
Alas too late

Fast forward
Been years since that lunch
Probably embarrassed myself
She got it though
Then I knew there was love after all
We still flirt, it's harmless, it's fun
