Frozen tears

Frozen tears

The icy wind of heartache, sweeps across your face, the sting a harsh reminder of a lost loves sweet embrace

The coldness of all the hurt, chills you to your core, heartbreak running through your veins, a loving heart it beats no more

Chapped lips blister, when they were once so full and moist, tips of ears stinging but searches in vain to find their voice

Standing there all alone tears frozen to your face, looking out for your one true love, whose gone without a trace

Frostbite fingers reaching out, hand stretched out in a desperate need, the cold winds biting skin, the blisters start to bleed

Loveless and frozen, the emptiness of a love now lost, now someone else basks in their sunshine, you must pay the cost

Gone is loves fire, it's their bodies that now mould as one, now they've found another, you freeze without their sun

The winds of pain and anguish, may last for many years, now you're left in a lovers wasteland, just you with frozen tears
