thank goodness for poetry

 
 
 
 
    that bottle with the note drifting out into the sea; that's poetry; not always clean; but is part of a poet's being  
 
 
    that 207th bone in the human anatomy; sometimes the 208th(lol); a feeling that can't quite be replaced; that pouring out of toxic waste when one's up night late;  
 
 
from reflecting the past to contemplating fate; if writing from an honest peaceful state, it's like a bubble where the "devil's weight" can't penatrate, even on a bad day....  
 
 a way to meditate; that mental passage way, for the steady or the stray; it gives one's pain a place to stay;  
 
thank goodness for poetry....
