My thoughts #1

I see more questions than answers. More paths than exits. I see no truth only the unknown. Because what is known has so much more needed to be discovered. Nothing is simple. But yet, everything starts at the same place. Different surroundings but the same old road. We try to learn and as we learn, we learn not only what we know but how little we know. We are so small compared to the universe and what it entails. But yet, we keep fighting to make it ours.

I'm different. We all are. But deep down, we have similarities. Some had a rough upbringing. Some have it rough right now. Some can't even afford to make something out of themselves. But we keep living. We look for that light out of darkness. Sometimes it's right in front of us and other times, difficult to find

We all walk along a lonely road and hope something greater helps us find our way. We pray or some just wish. We scratch and claw for what scraps we can find. Most of us have to scratch and even those who have it easy, still have to make sure they can keep the luxury they have been gifted. We age and grow closer to our destiny whether it be a simple cashier or the president. Each of us plays a part in how the world works.

I didn't have an easy upbringing. Some can relate. But what I do have is a choice. A choice to look at the past as my future or throw all those never-ending doubts away. I'm afraid but who isn't. I've been doubted my whole life even by those close to me but I can't change that. What I can do is try to change not only my life but other people's lives. I'm no hero as much as I wish I was. I wish I could take the pain away but I can't. But we keep moving forward. That's all that truly matters, doesn't it?
