Fragile heart

Fragile heart

Be careful how you hold it, just rest it in your hand, grip to tight and it will break, like castles made of sand

It may have rough edges, it's been broke many times before, shattered like a mirror, a million pieces on the floor

Once its broke to repair it, takes some tears and time, that time is full of heartache but one day it will be fine

So if I give you this special gift, you must feed it love and care, guard it and protect it, this gift I gives so rare

For in this world there's only one, of course it is my heart, I've given it to you right now, though you've owned it from the from the start

They say true love runs deep, it fills your very soul, so I give to you my fragile heart, this heart I give you whole

Please treat it gently, from the moment that you wake, care for it so tenderly, oh please don't let it break
