Love, Drugs And A Catatonic State Of Affairs
We're living in a world of love
As we love to hate everything
In these dark seasons of snuff and politics
The slow way to die and I still feel sixteen
But my body's grown old in these cold winters
Broken rhymes and murder lines
That's what it feels like to be human
Dancing in the ash of cremation
And you know I don't want this at all
I'm that high there's an ocean in the sky
A figment of my imagination
As we all dream a lie like a dream
The concept of what makes happiness
Cheap sex cascading on emotional freedom
Mouthfuls of dead semen spat into the fountain of youth
On the way to meet the relatives of pain
Dissolved into a six foot nebula
That sticks to my skin
The pharmaceutical of experimental narcotics
Mushed my head like stillbirth
Twisting nervously on the extremists birthday
He kissed my eyelids and blew my mind away
Smoking spliffs in the circle pit of death
I've been sailing in a sea of morphine
My time here, measured on a gravestone
So I float off back into the sea
The blood rush sends me numb,
As the painkillers only work for some
Don't cross the line but redirect it
Because the agony was enough
From the warm fuzz over my soul
But then the memories return like dawn
We're living in a world of love
As we love to hate everything
Broken rhymes and murder lines
That's what it feels like to be human
