You're very very kind in your thoughts Jackie. My poetry is still barely in its infancy (I feel) I only just recently started to be able to hit 'submit' when publishing, without palm sweat and butterflies. Writing poetry in earnest close to daily, didn't start until the beginning of August of this year. So my road to go is still far far far to travel... I don't have technical skills and I'm sure my grammar and punctuation are horrid.. Lmfao!! I kinda like that sloppiness and I shall claim it as my personal flavor/style vs the truth = which is lack of knowledge/skill... hahahaha... Your support and gorgeous thoughtfulness make me smile. I gain more confidence just by reading your comments and I remain hopeful that one day I can get to that point of acknowledgement... dreams are fun.

Intimate direct feel of the epistle style, potency of brevity, though I would like to see the monologue interspersed with some milieu and haptics to give it full dimensions. Beautiful work.

I learned the words milieu and haptics reading some Harvard smartypants book where I had to define a dozen words to understand them, with of course the knowledge that the average person would have to look up a few dozen words to understand them. lol Anyhow they are very precise definitions of the 3 rotating dimensions I tend to employ in a write: monologue, haptics and milieu. It's an effective technique to keep the write changing, like when you read a novel, they do one chapter about this character, another chapter about that character, always keep you aching and wanting.

I like the anticipation of something beginning to show its beauty and mystery as the ice melts away. The pic ads an excellent touch, making us feel those emotions right along with you.
