Fresh Start

I see a ray of light
In the distance and
Start to walk towards
It as the clouds begin
To cry velvet tears
Swimming through the
Soil beneath the trees
Bringing them new life

I walk across the clouds
Reaching my hand out
For the light feeling the
Warmth consume my
Heart injecting me with
A beautiful ray of happiness
That carries me across
The stars

I feel a spark of angelic
Grace course through
The clouds beneath me
Wrapping me in a blanket
Of hope and courage swiftly
Washing away my sins and
Cleansing the darkness within

I float down gently gripping
The ground with my feet
And look up to see a star
Lit night and one star shoot
Across the sky as the moon
Smiles down on me and the
Sun fades in the distance

I lay back and close my eyes
Feeling my heart compliment
My soul and a rush of confidence
Course through me while I
Take in my peaceful surrounding
And breathe a fresh breath
Air that sends a shockwave
Through the atmosphere
Forcing the sun to come back
Up and sit over the horizon
Indicating a fresh start
