Lone Spinster

Proud
enthusiastic wind
sweeps
white feather
a lone spinster,
of downey fluff
avoids debris
resisted

Sail on
the eddy, spiral
motion, soars
to heights
out of reach
out of
sight

Laconic, carefree
sinks, slowly
horizontal
wave
vagrant amongst
leaves, that fall

Catch, froward
torrent menacious
ill regard
to the pacing
of the east wind

Rest now,
soothing  descent,
gathers
freely with spent
petals
of Lady Banks
Rose

Fragrant cloudless
sky smiles
to  white feather
lone spinster
