Trans

So many things in nature are in constant transition
And for some it’s a lengthy passage to transform
And if this needs to be transcribed with precision
Some of us transpire to be different from the norm

We’re born with inherent qualities and dispositions
Slowly transfiguring in body, soul, and mind
Translation: while some transport through religion
Others transmute spiritually in their own time

Many are ousted for their supposed transgressions
Because they have found peace through transparency
But those who are transfixed on other’s lives and decisions
It’s a sure sign of transference of their own uncertainty

In my life I’ve tried to mature, change and be reborn
While in transit through this voyage into old age
The answers become translucent like a brainstorm
Transfusing into my veins as I slowly turn the page

In truth, some have a more difficult road to travel
Each life a different journey until we reach the end
If Jesus said, love one another, regardless of belief
Then maybe as a society we can all transcend
