Free will was unleashed
Right at the beginning.

There wasn't any other way.

You truly created
And you truly let go.

When freedom exploded
It took all of you along.
All your soul,
Exactly as you wanted.

You set the world in motion.
Not to control,
And not to command.

Just to let freedom grow.

When you created
You took a step beyond
What had been.

A place where everything had to belong.

I feel in awe
When I think that I was perceived
At the start of eternity.

Was I a wish,
Or just a possibility?

When you watch me,
Do you get surprised?
Am I your dream come true?
Your creation, worthy of a prize?

I know I can lose it
But can you lose?
How long would you let me
wrongly choose?

Perhaps you did not let yourself know
What would happen.
But you know what can happen.
And it will.

One way or another
We will get where you want us to be.
Some of us.

Will I be us?
Will you let me find the rules
You set when you let us go free?
