INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW

Years ago while teaching
a freshman class on the
Introduction to Humans Sexuality,
a shy woman on the
back row raised her hand,
which was unusual for her
When I asked her what
was her question;
she replied shyly but with
force:
"Professor, I have two questions.
First, why can a man put his mouth
on a woman's  vagina and a
woman cannot?
Second, why can a woman
put her mouth on a penis
and a man cannot?"
The class was morgue silent.
I asked the class to respond,
and the reasons came flying.
The answers included attraction,
religious reasons, genes, culture, hygiene,
prejudice,  sexual attraction, and many others.
I gave my answers; what would
your answer be?
