I felt you

It had been quite some time since I wrapped my arms around a woman and felt something for real.
Emotions that were almost alienating shrank out, within my chest, I felt comfort, and jittery in my stomach.
Couldn't shake off a question you posed me about soulmates and the extent of my belief in that. Why would you explicitly pose me?
I wish that the time we spent together in my cave was lengthier and slower, almost as much as I like to read a novel.
I hope it's not plain because deep down, I know I might be mistaken for turning you into my den.
I mean, I'm a little over 20, and I've been here before, so I should know.
I've seen many forms in which it can unfold, and yet it can not seem to throw off the impression that we might be bound to intertwine.
