[ X-mas 2020 ] Here he comes a caroling

    
Never late to the party    
wisemen come    
and wisemen go    
while I've never claimed to know    
much about anything    
   
Bereft of any worldly gift to give    
enhancing the life you want to live    
I'm hardly what you'd call    
an earthly king    
   
Don't even have a drum to beat    
for what rhythm there ain't    
between two left feet    
   
All I really have?    
is a song in my heart    
that I can't even sing    
worth a damn    
   
Well . . .    
   
the aforementioned    
not being quite true    
   
I am incredibly blessed    
with plenty of Love for you    
   
and I suppose these words    
alone must suffice as wrapping    
   
Take my advice though    
for next year's Holidays:    
save this paper, ribbon, and bow    
   
because lately these days    
Love is the only thing    
in this world worth regifting    
   
It's what makes the Earth go round;    
weight in gold n silver of which    
worth every pound too—  
   
this uplifting Spirit of Christmas    
abundantly abound in me    
that I first received from you
