The hunger games

The hunger games

I have this certain craving, it hides deep inside my soul, it tells me I need your body, this should be my only goal

Hunt you like a Wolf hunts prey, devour your your soft moist parts, eat and drink from you, but take care dont scar your heart

Its a fine line between devouring, and tender loving care, but I seem to find myself, somehow stuck in there

Desire washes over me, it tries to drown my caring side, I raise my head above its waters, where needs and care collides

Split between my own two halves, my desire wants it all, but caring says you must have love, only my head or heart can rule

This gnawing, aching passion, fights to take control, but nurturing tells me, kindness must take a roll

Where does this leave me, with my emotions in a whirl, I guess I'll have to ride the storm and let my fate unfurl

Desire need and hunger, one side of my inner coin, feeling it rise up deep within me, that aching in my loin,

Then there is the other side, the caring, gentle man, the side that must control the beast but I don't think it can

So welcome to my hunger games, this fight, I fight alone, I write the battle in stanzas, for you to read on your phone
