the wind blew in your soul
it echoed within calling your loneliness out
lonely made a telephone call
said meet me in the rain at four
I was on time
you didn't show
I cried dandelions
flowering in the desert of a deserted heart
in the electric cold I shiver
I could still hear you calling me
I ache within for your solemn sunshine
clouded over with doubt
I saw your shadow on the horizon
I called to you
my voice echoed within me
a lonely hello float on the air
thick with goodbye

......I feel the wanting in this beautifully written poem. Abandonment and desertion from love Sucks (know it too well)!!! ''I cried dandelions

clouded over with doubt"......Deserted from love is just like a mirage playing tricks on your mind in the dry desolate desert..... Just a simple minded admirer sharing his interpretation of this eloquently written poignant verse.....and who by the way is still looking for an Oasis in the Desert, LOL....
