When Your Gender Is Black

Everybody is gay
or everybody is
something else

Nobody is straight
because they cannot
have the opposite

There is no race
but the invisible

Spirit of Liberty
Judges rule
with an iron rod

and only truth will do
let the world be one color
and no spilling
of our one red blood

Let the captives go free
and do not assign them
their identity

We posses bodies
diagnosed
with chromosomes

Xx or Xy
My mother

and my brothers
are not of
flesh and blood
