A Twist Of A Vampire’s Fate LI

To The Death Part II
TIBRADDEN WOOD (PINE FOREST)
Dublin, Ireland

Dracon sank his wolfish canines deeper into Seneca’s neck and continued to rip more flesh from his already open gash. He tussled his body and pinned his back against the moss with his paws. Dracon dug his sharpen nails protruding from his paws into the sides of Seneca’s neck.

Seneca’s body twisted and turned to avoid the pain yet embracing the thought of his impending death.

Thunder and then rain welcomed the disordered melee. The pelts of rain stung the furry coat of the standing.

Each wolf howled and scattered for immediate cover.

The wrath to the stinging ran, coated the back of Dracon’s fur and Seance’s belly.

Dracon lifted his canine from out the abyss of Seneca’s neck.

Seneca rolled over and stumbled to regain his balance. He whimpered and limped away.

Dracon’s wolf pack slowly turned back to vampire form.

Each man looked up toward the hill of the mountain.

Dracon turned from wolf back to man. He attention was captured as Naynina made her way down the slope of the hill

Each man departed as Naynina made her way to where Dracon and his clan stood.

“Naynina,” Seneca’s mumbled under his teeth. “Fuck.”

Seneca leaned over and whispered to one of his clansman, “Under no circumstance, is Naynina to make it out this forest alive with that baster. If I can’t have her, then he will not either.” Seneca palmed his neck with one hand and held his other hand in the air. He gave his clansman a hand gesture

Seneca looked around.

His clansman bowed their head in compliance.

“What are you doing here, and before you answer that. You do know beautiful, you stepped into a war, a battle I was ending.”

Naynina caressed Dracon’s check.

“There is no need for this. My loyalty and my love will always remain with you. Please bring this battle to an end. There has been too much bloodshed.” Naynina looked over Dracon’s person. “Baby, you’re bleeding.”

“I will suffer a thousand lashes to my skin to lie near you throughout a century.”

Dracon encircled Naynina’s waist and pulled her to his chest. His lips greedily overpowered hers.

Naynina linked her arms round Dracon’s neck and scooted closer to his body. Her lips submitted under his. Naynina slipped her tongue inside Dracon’s mouth.

Dracon squeezed Naynina’s to his body tighter.

“Dracon look out,” one of his clansman hollered out.

The warning was too late.

Naynina opened her eyes. Shock radiated in her lovely features.

Dracon looked down into Naynina’s eyes.

Naynina’s body went limped in Dracon’s arms.

Dracon inched back. He looked down at the arrow protruding from out Naynina’s chest. He gently took her body to the moss. He cradled her in his arms and rocked his body back and forth.

“No, not again, please.: He looked out to his clansmen. “Kill every baster who stands.”

Dracon combed his fingers through his dreadlocks in disbelief. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly pulled the arrow from out Naynina’s chest.

The arrow landed at his feet.

Dracon hugged Naynina’s to his body.

Take care of my Naynina; you carry with you the protection of my daughter’s Fairy blood, and now pure witch’s blood. Let fate and strength be to your advantage.”

Dracon heard a raspy voice in the far corner of his mind. He looked down at Naynina’s lifeless body. He looked up as his clansman fought Seneca’s clansman to the death. He looked around for Seneca’s presence, which was unaccounted for.

I will see you and my daughter in another lifetime.”

Dammit there was that voice again he thought
.

Dracon’s fangs involuntary descended.

What the fuck he thought.

Dracon realized he was not in control of his bodily movements. He lifted his arm and bit into his inner wrist. His arm twisted around without will.

Dracon’s river of blood landed on Naynina’s lips.

FAIRYLAND
Centuries Ago

Naynina felt she was imprisoned in another place, another time. Her head was adorned with a tiara of emerald jewels. She looked to the right where her mother sat, she then looked to the other side, there sat an old fragile woman. She noticed her sight was ruled by a pair of white corneas. Her hair was silver and reached down to her ankles.

The woman turned and looked inside Naynina’s soul.

Naynina could not relished the hold of  the woman’s vision.

“You will carry on the bloodline for this realm where your mind dwells to convalesce. You are the key to our outside world. One drop of blood will restore your life. Once you awaken from the abyss of death you will be immortal.”

“I remember these words were once spoken to me many moons, but how could that be.”

“Your full circle of life has been ordained. This is the last of your rebirth to accept your calling in your awaken life, as you were once birthed from this life. You will a rise and sit on the throne of your own immortality. You will accept the blood and the fate of a vampire-hybrid. However, You must learn to channel the Fairy blood that runs through your vein.”

Naynina pivoted to face her mother.

“Mother, I not understand.”

“I renounced my Fairy Blood for you to live centuries ago. This time you shall love, and live by the doctrine of a witch.”

“Am I a witch or a Fairy.”

“You are a Fairy, who has the power once you awaken to walk in daylight as a witch. Love as you are human, but remember your oath as a Fairy, and may the force of the witches’ nature guide your footsteps.”

Naynina coughed.

Dracon’s eyes enlarged.

“You’re back.”

Naynina sat up. She looked around.

“Mother.”

Naynina’s vision was welcomed by the sight of blood. She saw several vampires laying on a battlefield. Some were beheaded, some corpses were smoking before disappearing into the wind.

Naynina found Dracon’s eyes.

“Wha…what happen.”

“Ahh…you fainted.”

Dracon cleared his throat behind his fabrication.

Naynina tasted Dracon’s blood on her lips, inside her mouth.

“As I was saying, this battle must come to an end.”

“I agree with you.”

Dracon held onto Naynina and uprooted their presence.

“Naynina, I need you to go with one of my clansman in safety; someone I trust who will protect your life with his life.”

Naynina grabbed onto Dracon’s arm.

“And where are you going.”

“I need to take care of some unfinished business.”

“Dracon, please, let’s it go. You got the girl.”

Dracon stole a quick kiss to Naynina’s lips.

“Yes, I do, but in this lifetime, I must deal with the fact some other has your heart, taste the memory of your blood, and I cannot bear to accept, your mind.”

Dracon whistled.

One of his clansman flashed over to where Naynina and Dracon stood.

“I need you take Naynina’s back to Romania.”

Naynina looked up into Dracon’s eyes.

“Romania.”

“Yes, I cannot take care of my business here and oversee your welfare.”

“Dracon, please don’t leave me, not after I have just found you.”

“And with all I have you will never lose me.”

Dracon tilted Naynina’s chin and tenderly kissed her on the lips. He stepped back, and then flashed away.

Naynina looked out into the distance. She did not glimpse any sign of Dracon.
