Quick thought
I keep on dreaming but the message is deceiving
The heart is grieving from this little double meaning
My head and soul bleeding but my failures repeating
My right foot leading but the rest of me retreating
The unlucky man pleading as he stays to struggle breathing
The best, they are achieving but the rest are not competing
The waters, they are receding, and the two lines not close to meeting

Author's Note
I have been going through some things. Medical insurance issues. Medicine running out. Feeling awful from medicine running pit. It just hasn't been a great time. And it still isn't but I'm just accepting that I can't get lucky so I'm done trying. Sorry for my absence. Hope you enjoy.
