I under-stand.
I had just bought Double Fantasy a few hours b4 hearing The News.
I never been so blown away by the death of someone i wasn't ";personal" with.
It was in my mind everyday for at least a year.
I couldn't listen to that record for about the same length time.
Couldn't even look at the cover. Couldn't listen to any Beatle's stuff nor any of his previous solo stuff either.
IMAGINE that. At LEAST a year.

This was as horrifying to me as JFK being assasinated! I remember I was lying on my bed in my first apartment, reading. . .and it came over the radio!
