Image for the poem an origin of blue.

an origin of blue.

Standing on the perimeter
within my own fabricated bubble
Some came, some left
Battered and bruised, I remained
Circling the outside, head barely above sea level
You.
saw.
me.
All alone
and pretending not to care
Your intrigue became my biggest fortune
Oh what a glorious spectacle
Pure gold at the end of a rainbow
Fueled, pollinated by fierce spirit
I was undiscovered
There~ untapped,
barely a whisper of inspiration; †
It was your introduction †
that ripped me wide open
Beautiful Blue, spill(ed) forth
a never before
Was unleashed, unveiled and truly unburdened
and now reinforced by you, †
I, could finally see....
  †† †

óme †
