A MESSAGE FROM HEAVEN
A MESSAGE FROM HEAVEN
When l sat to read a book,
glad l was to choose that one.
It was what my heart desired;
all the others it would shun.
As l opened it, l saw
some words written by a friend.
Leaving us, he went so far
where the living can't be found.
Looking at what he had scrawled,
I was overcome by tears.
What he wrote was his friendship
would forever have strong ties.
I reflected on his words,
which presented me a gift
that an angel brought to me,
coming from the land of height.
