Ha! Men are hunters by nature and love a challenge to feel accomplished when they overcome it! It's totally natural for you to feel that way! Now, what you DO with that feeling is totally human! :D

I'm not saying that I steadily vacillate between enjoying life and hating myself, but if someone were to characterize themselves that way, I would certainly empathize.
